Responsibilities

Direct storage and distribution for multiple warehouse locations within the North Texas Area Command.

Ensure efficient sorting, distribution, and receipt of long-term storage, merchandise, donations, and supplies.

Secure warehouse contents against loss and evaluate inventory on hand.

Supervise warehouse employees, beneficiaries, and community service workers.

Coordinate distribution of items for the food pantry program and monitor the supply of items available in the warehouse.

Maintain inventory of items, process requests, and ensure warehouses are clean, organized, and secure.

Coordinate warehouse planning and usage with Angel Tree program leads.

Serve as a liaison to Corps Officers, County Directors, external agencies, and third-party vendors.

Participate in warehouse activities including sorting, packing, loading, unloading, and driving as needed.

Record statistical information, update databases, and ensure accuracy and completeness of records.

Required

Associate’s degree from an accredited university or college in logistics or related field

Bachelors’ degree from an accredited university or college in logistics, warehouse management or related field

Five years experience performing logistics in a warehouse environment, with three years supervisory experience

Valid State Driver’s License / CDL Preferred

Forklift Certification (or ability to obtain within established timeframe)

Ability to meet attendance requirements

Ability to read, write and communicate in the English language effectively

Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing and some climbing

Ability to drive a heavy-duty truck

Extensive amount of physical effort required associated with lifting, moving, and carrying heavy objects (more than 50 lbs.) frequently
