Responsibilities
Prepares engineering deliverables including process models, calculations, and design criteria
Supports multiple projects with complex technical challenges
Serves as a technical specialist in wastewater treatment systems
Conducts research and testing for treatment processes
Develops recommendations for treatment processes and equipment selection
Oversees data collection and analysis for process modeling
Provides guidance on client interests and project solutions
Supports business development activities and client presentations
Mentors junior engineers and supports performance management
Ensures compliance with engineering standards and quality program
Manages resources, implements strategies, and supports continuous improvement
Ensures effective implementation of policies and procedures
May approve expense reports

Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering
Minimum of 8 years related work experience
Professional engineering license from any of the states in the USA or ability to obtain one within 2 years of employment
Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (which may include criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search)
Experience in wastewater water treatment with at least 5 years in water quality and treatment
Advanced knowledge of process design for treatment of municipal wastewater, engineering design principles, and applicable design guides and standards related to assigned engineering discipline
Preferred
Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in civil, environmental, or chemical engineering
10 years of experience in wastewater water treatment
Experience with using modern process simulators such as BioWin, GPS-X, Sumo, and/or Simba
Established leadership skills with deep understanding of consulting, project execution, client services, and business development
Effective written and oral communications, Drive for Results, Priority Setting, Planning, Delegation, Directing Others, Conflict Management, Informing, Listening, Dealing with Ambiguity, And Building Effective Teams
