Responsibilities

Champion a culture of data driven decision making.
Interpret data from web analytics and business data, analyze results and provide ongoing reports.
Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize data quality.
Work with our business insights team to maintain integrity of our web analytics systems.
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
Work closely with the digital experience team to prioritize web data information needs.
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities within our web data collection and visualization practices.
Be proactive in finding and identifying data integrity issues in the company’s web analytics systems.
Use business data and web analytics to uncover potential causes behind changes in key metrics (add to cart/conversion rate/ etc.)
Analyzing web experiments (ab/multivariant testing)

Required

Proven working experience as a web data analyst.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
A proactive approach to learning new systems, gathering data and managing data integrity.
Strong experience working in web analytics systems (GA4 and Adobe Analytics).
Strong experience with behavioral analytics (ei heatmaps, Content Square, HotJar).
An understanding of best practices in quantitative and qualitative data gathering.
Experience with AB/multivariate testing/experimentation.
Experience creating and analyzing web experiments.
An ability to define a purchase funnel and identify bottlenecks in the users’ journey within that funnel.
An understanding of basic statistics and statistical data modeling as it relates to experimentation.
Experience managing and implementing event tracking via Google Tag Manager (GTM) and/or Adobe Dynamic Tag Manager (DTM)
A practical understanding of data models, data mining and segmentation techniques.
An understanding of data visualization software (Power BI etc.), databases (SQL etc.), programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks).
A strong understanding of how web analytics data collection occurs.
Strong database and excel skills.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
An understanding of how user behavior is tracked in web analytics systems (ie, event tracking/conversion tracking/heatmaps etc.)
