Responsibilities

Concept and design clean, purposeful web interface, that is intuitive, user friendly and allows audiences to engage quickly and take the appropriate action a company or brand intends.
Collaborate with the account and design teams to concept and translate design mockups/wireframes into fully functional WordPress websites.
Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch or modify existing ones to meet project requirements.
Integrate third-party APIs and plugins to enhance website functionality.
Execute, monitor and troubleshoot SEO and SEM initiatives for multiple clients’ programs and campaigns in partnership with our Digital Strategist.
Assist in saving and maintaining digital files, photography, illustrations, logo art, typestyles, and other client and company related materials and resources to assist other team members in locating necessary files and references.
Contribute to project budget estimating, scope development for business development purposes related to website and technical projects as needed by the Business Development and Marketing team.
Provide oversight, management and updates to the LŪM website.
Assist team in ensuring HubSpot tools are properly managed and maintained in relation to the LŪM Website and associated software.
Provide technical support and guidance to team members and clients as needed.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
Provide ongoing website maintenance and management of client sites including the review, scheduling, and completion of security and backups, module and plug-in updates maintaining website security and performing regular backups.
Optimize website performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
Add regular content updates to both pages and posts for both clients and the LŪM website where required.
Stay up to date with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and best practices.

Required

Proven work experience as a web designer related to the skills and qualifications outlined above and demonstrated with a strong portfolio.
Experience in creating site outlines, storyboards/site mockups, user flows, process flows and/or site maps.
Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, website publishing platforms including WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Weebly, etc.
Strong understanding and experience with WordPress page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery, etc.), core functionalities and database structure.
Understanding of and experience with domains, server configurations and hosting configurations (e.g., StablePoint, WP Engine, DreamHost); migrations and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of data security.
Experience with responsive design techniques and frameworks like Bootstrap.
Understanding of user experience (UX) design principles.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP.
Experience with customization and integration of third-party integrations.
Knowledge of best SEO and SEM practices and proven success incorporating SEO and SEM into new and existing websites.
Knowledge and experience with web accessibility standards (WCAG and ADA/Section 508).
Email configuration management experience.
Knowledge of digital marketing and web analytics tools.
Up to date with the latest web trends, responsive design principles, techniques and technologies.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe suite.
Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
Ability to manage multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with an emphasis on clarity and timeliness of replies both internally and with clients where necessary.
Project planning and management skills: including building project timelines in partnership with the account team; managing timing expectations with clients and internal team; and modifying and communicating efficiently.
Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality results.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
Strong organizational skills.
Passion for learning and adapting to new technologies.
Located within our focus region: Wyoming, Montana, Colorado, South Dakota, Utah, Nebraska, or Idaho.
Formal training in web design or programming.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, web or digital design, communications, design or a related field, or a certificate in web development, or equivalent work experience.
Three (3) to five (5) years of experience working as a WordPress developer.

Preferred

Located in Wyoming.
Experience working with Adobe Premiere Pro C and After Effects.
Background in public speaking, presenting, and pitching.
Proficiency in HubSpot, Basecamp and Zoom.
Experience in healthcare/wellness industries.
Experience working with a marketing agency.
