Responsibilities

Develop and maintain branded templates for the USF content management system under the direction of the University Webmaster.

Develop templates with a clear understanding of how end-users will work with them.

Test templates for browser compatibility and accessibility.

Assist with CMS administrative tasks

Assist with technical support tickets.

Contribute to official documentation

Collaborate with IT and colleagues with web responsibilities throughout the university on digital presence initiatives.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Required

Bachelor's degree in a related field with two years of related experience; or six years of related experience; or a combination of related education and work experience.

Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, and XSL.

Proficient in cross-browser/cross-platform testing, accessibility standards, and mobile/responsive development.

Preferred

At least four years of experience in website development.

Previous experience with content management systems.

Previous experience implementing accessibility standards.

Good communication skills (written and verbal).

Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

Ability to work on several projects simultaneously.

Strong attention to detail.
