Responsibilities
Build and maintain a user-friendly API portal that provides clients with documentation, usage instructions, and sandbox environments to explore our APIs
Create interactive features within the portal to improve client engagement and ease of use
Develop tutorials, guides, and code examples to help clients quickly get started with our APIs
Work closely with the technical team to ensure documentation is accurate, clear, and accessible for developers of all skill levels
Create engaging demo applications and interactive visualizations to showcase the capabilities and potential applications of our API products
Use frontend frameworks and data visualization libraries to build responsive, visually appealing demos that are easy for clients to understand
Collaborate with the sales team in pre-sales activities by providing technical expertise, assisting in customer meetings, and responding to technical inquiries
Work closely with potential and existing clients to understand their needs and demonstrate how our APIs can meet their requirements
Work with Customer Support Team to gather feedback from customers on our APIs, tutorials, and demos to inform product improvements
Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to ensure the API products continuously evolve to meet customer expectations and market trends
Serve as a bridge between the sales, product, and engineering teams, ensuring client feedback is communicated and incorporated into product development
Occasionally assist with customer support for technical issues or customization requests

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience in web development, with a focus on frontend development (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular)
Proficiency in RESTful API design, development, and documentation, with hands-on experience in integrating and showcasing APIs
Experience with data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js, Highcharts) and mapping frameworks (e.g., Leaflet, Mapbox)
Familiarity with cloud platforms and services, particularly those relevant to APIs and data processing (e.g., AWS, OVH)
Strong understanding of weather, environmental, or geospatial data
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience
Preferred
Previous experience in a pre-sales or solution engineering role is a plus
