Responsibilities
Use a variety of technologies from both web2 and web3, integrating them seamlessly into both our user experience and tech stack (React, Next.js, PostgreSQL, Prisma, AWS, TypeScript).
Collaborate with other engineers to pick the best technologies, tools, and frameworks for our product.
Help define new feature sets, choose implementation details, and set product direction as part of a high trust, high autonomy team.
Help to grow the engineering team, through both formal processes such as hiring and performance management and informal processes such as technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in the blockchain and cryptocurrency domains.
Continuously improve the development process, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and effectiveness.

Required
A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on early-stage web product development.
You value having strong opinions, believe in ownership, and thrive in a high-velocity environment.
You’re comfortable with ambiguity and can make progress independently.
You've been an early (<10) engineering hire at least once.
You have deep expertise in modern JavaScript/TypeScript, demonstrated through shipping production applications using frameworks like React, Node.js, or similar.
Preferred
A background in early stage startups and 0 to 1 product development is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with Solidity, smart contracts, and web3 infrastructure is great, but not essential.
