Responsibilities

Administer Windows servers with IIS, SharePoint, and MS Entra integration.

Install, configure, maintain, and optimize SQL Server databases, ensuring performance, security, and availability.

Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell or other scripting tools to enhance efficiency.

Optimize server and database performance through query tuning, indexing, and resource management.

Implement best practices for system and database security, including Windows patching and access control.

Analyze logs and troubleshoot complex issues across servers and databases to ensure stability and uptime.

Establish and maintain robust backup and recovery procedures.

Proactively monitor systems for performance issues and resolve complex incidents promptly.

Partner with DevOps, IT, and application teams to implement new services, set up servers, and enhance monitoring.
