Responsibilities

Developing and implementing pixel-perfect WordPress themes for our clients in the legal industry

Optimizing website performance and their security

Collaborating with the design team to create functional and aesthetic websites

Management of all current client websites

WordPress core and plugin updates, theme updates, etc…

You will work hand-in-hand with the Lead WordPress Developer

Required

2+ year of experience in a creative agency environment

2+ years of daily WordPress development experience

2-4 year degree in related field

Understanding of web design, Adobe Creative Suite, and design/development collaboration

Strong front-end development skills, including knowledge and familiarity with HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS3, SASS, PHP

Understanding of UX analysis/web reporting and data tracking, with familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio, and Google Search Console

Experience with WordPress hosting environments like WP Engine

Experience with managing domains and DNS

Experience with the Advanced Custom Fields plugin

Outstanding communication skills – including oral, written, and presentation

Professional demeanor and dependable work ethic

Self-motivation, diligent attention-to-detail, and dedication to quality

Excellent organizational and planning skills with the ability to work quickly under pressure, handling and prioritizing multiple ongoing assignments

Collaborative, honest, creative, results-driven, solution-oriented, and not afraid to experiment even if it means you may fail

Burning desire to learn and get better at your craft

You must have a working portfolio of WordPress websites you’ve worked on that are custom developed
