Workers' Compensation Claims Leader | Remote

Responsibilities
Oversee New York Workers' Compensation, Lost Time claims.
Select, train, coach and mentor Workers’ Compensation Claims personnel.
Plan staff responsibilities and direct activities, utilizing staff resources effectively to meet department goals in accordance with approved plans and budgets.
Ensure appropriate case reserves consistent with company guidelines.
Extend settlement authority on claims exceeding adjuster's granted authority.
Develop, recommend and implement short range objectives consistent with company business goals, guidelines and programs.
Recognize and analyze trends across the claim’s portfolio at the adjuster, unit and account levels.

Required
7+ years of Workers’ Compensation claims experience.
2+ years of Workers’ Compensation Managerial/Supervisory experience.
Must be well versed in NY Workers’ Compensation Law.
Active adjuster’s license is highly desired.
Demonstrated leadership, coaching, mentoring and teamwork skills.
Excellent Customer Service and Organizational skills.
High School Diploma.
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.
