Responsibilities

Leads complex engagements and collaborates with clients and project teams to develop solutions, budgets, and timelines.

Negotiates changes in deliverables and schedules, acting as an escalation point for engineering issues.

Attends meetings with stakeholders, provides project updates, and recommends technology options.

Conceptualizes system designs, generates detailed documentation, and oversees the development of construction drawings.

Supports projects during the build phase, completes as-built drawings, and assists in testing and commissioning subsystems.

Continuously develops industry expertise through trade publications, seminars, and educational forums.

Required

8+ years of experience in Workplace audio visual (AV) systems designing (to include DSP layout, audio design and configuration)

8+ years of successfully completing engineering projects

5+ years of client interaction/client-facing experience

3+ years of knowledge of enterprise-level security and networking design and configuration (physical and topology, IP structures and ranges, switch interconnectivity, VLAN, bandwidth calculation)

Associate degree required or equivalent experience is required

AVIXA CTS-D is required, and CTS-I is preferred

Preferred

Network Certifications desired: CompTIA Network +, Security +, Cisco CCNA, Extreme Networks ECA, etc.

Certifications, training, or experience with at least one DSP platform (Biamp, QSC, Clearone, etc.)

Certifications, training, or experience with at least one control system (Crestron, Extron, AMX, etc.)

Certifications, training, or experience with at least one AV over IP platform (Crestron, Evertz, AMX, etc.)
