Responsibilities

Collaborate with field experts to develop content for best practice guidance such as briefs, white papers, case studies, and other documents related to education data.

Edit and proofread content for both internal and client-facing documents.

Format and design outreach materials including brochures, flyers, presentations, press releases, and newsletters.

Contribute to the development and management of client websites, including content creation, design, user testing, and coordinating updates.

Prepare documents to comply with Section 508 accessibility standards.

Represent QIP and the Department of Education (ED) in stakeholder meetings, including those with state and local education agency staff, education data systems experts, and ED staff.

Assist senior project staff with project management and various other tasks as needed.

Required

Bachelor’s degree

4 years of relevant experience

Proven ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats

Comfortable working with multiple style guides and adapting to different formatting and editorial standards

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders

Preferred

Experience in a similar role within the education or data sectors

Experience with graphic design programs such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, or Illustrator

Familiarity with Section 508 compliance and experience in creating compliant documents

Experience with website content management and design is beneficial but not mandatory
