Responsibilities

Inspecting trailers, tracks, and the intermodal yard.

Cleaning and sweeping out trailers.

Performing 2-hour temperature checks of live loaded trailers/equipment.

Inputting information into computers, preparing reports, and managing trailer inventory.

Working primarily on the dock and in the yard, including outdoor work in all weather conditions.

Completing administrative duties and any other assigned tasks.

Prioritizing workload, maintaining confidentiality, and involving Safety team as required.

Having the flexibility to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Required

High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required

Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
