Responsibilities

Independently determine z/OS software upgrade requirements to maintain all products at current and supported levels as specified by IBM and third-party vendors.

Coordinate and schedule major software upgrades across various Mainframe Technical support teams.

Define resource requirements in collaboration with other managers within the Technical Services group to support software and hardware upgrades.

Monitor CPU, Memory, and DASD trends to ensure service levels of supported software.

Stay updated on vendor software trends and product release schedules for z/OS technology

Manage multiple projects, develop detailed implementation plans and schedules, and prepare periodic status reports.

Consult with management and technical staff on related mainframe software and hardware initiatives.
