Responsibilities
Lead and scale high-performing data scientists, cultivating a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning
Develop and execute multi-year data science strategies aligned with enterprise goals across marketing, product, finance, and operations
Partner with Executive Leadership to drive data-first decision-making through predictive modeling, advanced analytics, and AI/ML initiatives
Drive innovation by helping implement scalable infrastructure and ML platforms (e.g., Snowflake, etc.) that support real-time model deployment
Deliver business impact by building and refining ML models focused on player experience and business need
Collaborate with analytics squads and business stakeholders to prioritize projects, manage roadmaps, and measure outcomes
Mentor and develop data science talent, implementing training programs to build future leaders
Ensure operational excellence by optimizing model training costs, compute efficiency, and technical stack architecture
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
10+ years of experience in data analytics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
Experience in the online gaming industry
Strong expertise in ML modeling, predictive analytics, segmentation, and recommender systems
Proven experience aligning data strategy with executive-level business priorities and operational goals
Experience with Python, SQL, Spark, Snowflake, and ML infrastructure tools like MLflow and SageMaker
Experience with statistical modeling, A/B testing, and customer segmentation techniques
Experience implementing and overseeing ML platforms and building unified data products across multiple domains
Familiarity with online gaming platforms, trading systems, and marketing technologies
Strategic thinker with a proven ability to balance short-term results with long-term goals
Excellent communicator with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable strategies for stakeholders at all levels
Collaborative team player who excels in cross-functional environments
Demonstrated success in coaching and developing high-performing data science teams
