Business Development Officer IV - Business Credit

Responsibilities
Leads business development activities for credit-based products through active solicitation and cultivation of highly complex client relationships
Leverages a highly developed network within assigned market area
Works independently and may mentor other team members
Prospects, maintains and leverages a highly developed network
This includes dialogues with sponsor groups, financial intermediaries, businesses, accountants, attorneys, banks, and additional Centers of Influence
Performs complex credit structuring and analyzes financial information to determine if the client's financing requirements meet PNC parameters
Manages risk/return and actively identifies and mitigates different types of risk for new clients, such as regulatory, reputational, operational and credit risks
Develops comprehensive financing package structured to meet client needs, drive client acceptance and deepen share of wallet
Coordinates credit underwriting, due diligence and loan documentation with internal and external partners
Qualification
Required
University / college degree
Higher level education such as a Masters degree, or PhD is desirable
Industry experience typically 8 + years
Specific certifications are often required
In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered
Customer Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions
Managing Risk - Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework
