Responsibilities
Oversee a wide range of public sector technology projects, ensuring coordination of shared resources, common activities, and other dependencies across all projects
Serve as Activation Lead on-site with client during emergencies, manage rapid mobilization efforts and coordinate resources, schedules, and dependencies across initiatives focused on disaster planning, training, and response
Lead operation and maintenance team to rapidly resolve technology requests such as minor enhancements or issue resolutions
Develop and maintain client relationships, driving communication around status updates, issue resolution, and risk management
Support the development of internal processes, documentation, and knowledge sharing
Coordinate operational processes for multiple engagements, including contract management support, engagement setup, change orders, and billing reconciliation
Liaise with client-side procurement and accounts payable teams to ensure seamless service delivery and issue resolution
Support time entry corrections, revenue adjustments, and financial reporting activities
Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement in engagement operations, financial tracking, and reporting
Serve as a trusted point of contact for operational questions, systems issues, or troubleshooting across internal and client-facing teams
Qualification
Required
7-10 years of large scale technology project management experience, ideally with the government sector or consulting background
Familiarity with digital platforms like Salesforce or Microsoft Azure
3-5 years of business operations or engagement management experience in a professional services environment
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with executive presence
Solid understanding of contract management, billing systems, time entry processes, and financial oversight
A proactive mindset to identify gaps, mitigate risks, and improve business and operational performance
Proficiency in Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience in Agile project environments and digital transformation initiatives
Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
Working knowledge or experience of the emergency management functions, including emergency operation centers, and/or public safety
