Monroe County is seeking a Principal Personnel Analyst, prov. - (Human Resources Manager – MCH) to oversee and administer personnel programs at Monroe Community Hospital. The role involves ensuring compliance with hospital policies and managing various personnel-related activities including recruitment, hiring practices, and employee relations.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the oversight and administration of personnel programs, functions, and activities at Monroe Community Hospital
Ensuring that all personnel-related programs and activities—such as recruitment and selection, hiring practices, employee discipline, and grievance and appeal processes—are conducted in compliance with hospital policies and procedures, collective bargaining agreements, applicable provisions of Civil Service Law, and all relevant local, state, and federal laws and regulations
Supervising senior-level clerical and professional personnel staff and being involved in the analysis and development of agency personnel procedures and practices

Required

Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma
Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a Master's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Labor Relations, Industrial Relations, Personnel Administration, Human Resource Development or a closely related field, plus three (3) years paid full-time or its part-time equivalent experience in personnel activities including one or more of the following: interviewing, recruitment, selection, labor or employee relations, position classification, benefits enrollment and explanation, or staff development and training, one (1) year of which must be in a supervisory capacity
Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a Bachelor's degree plus four (4) years paid full-time or its part-time equivalent experience as described in (A) above, one (1) year of which must be in a supervisory capacity
Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with an Associate's degree plus six (6) years paid full-time or its part-time equivalent experience as described in (A) above, one (1) year of which must be in a supervisory capacity
Eight (8) years paid full-time or its part-time equivalent experience as described in (A) above, one (1) year of which must be in a supervisory capacity
An equivalent combination of education and experience as defined by the limits of (A), (B), (C) and (D) above
