Responsibilities
Coordinates and prepares fiscal year inventory closing reports for CHFS Agencies and Distribution Center
Works as Asset Coordinator to ensure the Procurement, Payables and Asset Management System (PPATS) is managed and functioning
Monitors expenditures of items purchased over $500 and ensures all fixed assets are tracked
Works with agency budget personnel to ensure accurate funding codes for purchased, leased, or acquired equipment and property
Coordinates and prepares the comprehensive annual financial report for the Cabinet
Interprets laws and regulations to create procedure documentation for compliance with Federal and State standards
Researches and prepares reports on budget issues related to Cabinet assets
Collaborates with CHFS management across the state to provide data on program policies for asset management
Qualification
Required
Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree
Three years of professional, administrative, or business experience
Knowledge of all Microsoft Suite products
Maintain a valid driver's license
Ability to work independently
Effective communication skills in person and via technology
Preferred
Experience with PPATS and EMARS is a plus
