How To Write A Resume As A Designer?
Table of Contents
First of all, please write your resume as it really is, you are allowed to package it moderately, but please do not over or falsely package your resume.
Those who use job board templates to submit are not included in the discussion of this post, they all submit on their own after searching for corporate HR emails. June and July is the graduation season, the peak season for job searching, and a large number of students are flooding into the job market. Want to be in so many job seekers, let their own resume by HR attention, resume is the beginning, but also the most important one.
If you don’t know how to searching corporate HR emails, please read “How to Find HR Email Address List for Free“.
Please Clarify a Premise:
The first contact to your resume is HR, not your future technical department head, HR first in accordance with the recruitment requirements to screen out suitable resumes, and then the resume batch sent to the hands of the department head; the person in charge of the screening again, feel that the resume is OK, and then return to HR, and only after that is to ask you to interview.
So as a designer, please include the following in your resume submission:
An electronic copy of your resume + a portfolio of your work
The focus of this piece of content is any crafting a competent resume.
Electronic Resume:
Please use Word or PDF format, please do not use any non-replicable information such as JPG file format. PDF format can ensure that the content in different computers to display the same effect, there will be no typographical confusion, character garbled problems.
Even in Word format, there are sometimes problems with resume layout for various reasons. This problem was worse on Mac and Windows Office a long time ago, but it’s much better now.
Emphasize that again:
Please use Word or PDF format for your resume, please do not use JPG or any other file format that does not allow you to reproduce information, the rest of the formats are not recommended.
The electronic version of the resume serves two purposes:
- It is for HR to quickly browse your various types of information and screen for suitable talents;
- HR will store the information in the archive, as a reserve talent pool for the use of the enterprise.
Things outside the resume – mailbox and resume name
My personal advice: If you just enter the workplace or work for a few years, apply for a more professional mailbox.
163, Gmail, Outlook, etc. can be, do not use your student mailbox, you know what I mean (here do not name which mailbox I said)
Please use the name of your resume:
Position + years of experience + name
The email is sent to the HR mailbox and what HR sees when he opens the mailbox is:
From mailbox name + Subject + Attachment identification
