Our Founding Story

Behind Jobright are two passionate AI pioneers, Eric Cheng (CEO) and Ethan Zheng (CTO).

Eric Cheng holds an M.S. in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and was among the early engineers at Box. Before Jobright, he co-founded Fangcloud, a file-collaboration startup that grew to over 50,000 business users with top-tier VC backing.

Ethan Zheng earned his Ph.D. in AI/Databases from The University of Hong Kong and led AI initiatives at Newsbreak (serving around 10 million daily users) and ads ranking at Twitter.

They launched Jobright in 2023 after recognizing that many talented individuals miss out on great roles simply because they lack access to tailored career guidance.
